Members of the Warsaw Area Career Center FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Chapter along with Chapter Advisers Dena Lancaster and Mallery Pierce recently attended the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Muncie March 5-7.
The State Leadership Conference was an opportunity for students from around the states to gather for guest speakers, leadership workshops, networking events, and career-focused STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Event competitions.
Results for the WACC team are as follows:
Grace Bowers: gold medal and runner up for national qualifier in Career Investigation
Maggie Burkholder: bronze medal in Early Childhood Education
Aby Hermann: gold medal and national qualifier in Sports Nutrition
Isabelle Hermann: silver medal and national qualifier in Career Investigation
Molly Kissling: silver medal and national qualifier in Entrepreneurship
Josue Montoya and Vicente Martinez: gold medal and national qualifiers in Chapter in Review
Students who qualified for National Leadership Conference in STAR Events are eligible to compete at the Conference in Denver, Colorado from July 2 - July 6, 2023.
