The Warsaw FFA Community Appreciation Supper occurred on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 with a drive-thru chili supper for a monetary or canned food donation. The community was very supportive of the Warsaw FFA in this new reiteration of our annual event! The FFA chapter was able to collect over 350 canned food items that will be donated to our local food pantries.
The community was also generous in their monetary donations with 50% of donations going to the Warsaw FFA chapter and 50% donated to the Rob Hays Memorial Scholarship fund through the Indiana FFA Foundation. Rob Hays was the current Indiana FFA Executive Director and was a former Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor at Warsaw who passed away unexpectedly in September, 2020. Through this event, $1200 was raised for the donation in his memory. On behalf of the Warsaw FFA, Jacob Riley would like to thank the community for their ongoing support and generosity.
