For Thanksgiving the Warsaw Early Learning Academy preschoolers created a family turkey feather. The students were sent home with a blank feather and the family worked together to create and decorate the feather. Then they returned the feather to create a school family turkey. Everyone worked very hard on their turkey feather and very proud to display it at school for all to see!
Mrs. Lancaster's Adult Roles & Responsibilities classes were recently able to walk over to our Automotive class at Global Auto. The automotive students demonstrated how to change and replace the oil in your car and the dangers of changing a flat tire without using the proper equipment. What a fun day of learning! Special thanks to Mr. Hoyt & Mrs. Lancaster for creating this opportunity for our students!
A few weeks ago, Chef Bragg's Culinary I class had the opportunity to serve Central Office staff lunch. Great job, students!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our WACC students & staff!

Blue Apron Fans:

Thank you for your continued support! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Mr. Clark's personal finance class has been learning excel. Their final project is called "Follow the Rainbow Contest." Each member of the group (assigned by rows) were given directions and each got an individual skittles packet. They had to open their packet and divide them up into colors and share their information with each member of their group. Once they had their group totals, they were then responsible to get totals from the other five groups. Their task was that each member of their group designed an exact excel spreadsheet with formulas, pie chart, and bar graph. The winning group isn't the group who completed the assignment the quickest, but the group who paid attention to details and had identical spreadsheets. Great job, students!

The 17th Annual Warsaw FFA Community Appreciation Supper is tonight! Due to the circumstances of COVID-19, the event has changed a little & will be drive-thru only. There will still be a chili and hot dog dinner. Please bring canned food to donate to the local food pantry.
Last week, WACC/WCHS hosted a special Enrichment period & Mr. Schramm's dog, Ginger came for a visit to play to help the student relax a little bit! One of my students was still working on his assignments, but also giving a little loving to Ginger! Do you think she likes school?
The WACC TV crew was working to improve their live streaming skills today in class. They will be live streaming the play of Ms. McAfee's Children's Theater Class to the elementaries on Thursday, December 3rd. The show must go on and the WACC TV crew is helping to ensure elementary students still get a fun theater experience even though Covid restrictions prevent them from attending the in person performance at WCHS. Students in Mrs. Hopper's Broadcasting classes learn all aspects of professional television studio production and enjoy sharing their talents and skills with others.
Great work, Tyler Jones! He is a Welding student in Mr. Paseka's class who is honoring his Grandpa. We can't wait to see the finished product!
Ms. Renbarger's Beginner Child Development classes received their CPR certifications. Through this program they learned first aid, CPR, AED and the Heimlich Maneuver. Special thanks to our EMT class instructor, Alicia Elder, for helping to provide this to our students!
We are incredibly grateful to Warsaw McDonald's for supporting the WCHS/WACC Wellness Program by donating $1,000!
