The Warsaw FFA Community Appreciation Supper occurred on Monday, Nov. 23 with a drive-thru chili supper for a monetary or canned food donation. The community was very supportive of the Warsaw FFA in this new reiteration of our annual event! The FFA chapter was able to collect over 350 canned food items that will be donated to our local food pantries. The community was also generous in their monetary donations with 50% of donations going to the Warsaw FFA chapter and 50% donated to the Rob Hays Memorial Scholarship fund through the Indiana FFA Foundation. As many of you know, Mr. Hays was the current Indiana FFA Executive Director and was a former Agriculture teacher & FFA Advisor at Warsaw who passed away unexpectedly in September. Through this event, $1200 was raised for the donation in his memory. Thank you!

For Thanksgiving the Warsaw Early Learning Academy preschoolers created a family turkey feather. The students were sent home with a blank feather and the family worked together to create and decorate the feather. Then they returned the feather to create a school family turkey. Everyone worked very hard on their turkey feather and very proud to display it at school for all to see!

Mrs. Lancaster's Adult Roles & Responsibilities classes were recently able to walk over to our Automotive class at Global Auto. The automotive students demonstrated how to change and replace the oil in your car and the dangers of changing a flat tire without using the proper equipment. What a fun day of learning! Special thanks to Mr. Hoyt & Mrs. Lancaster for creating this opportunity for our students!
